When you join Moon And Stars, we encourage you to make your account the way you choose. During your time here, this account will be referred to as your 'OOC' (out of character) account, aka the account you use when you're not roleplaying. This account will be used to interact with other members, and will be the account from which you post character applications. We will use this account to indicate what characters you play, and you are free to completely personalize this account!
For the sake of organization, Moon And Stars is a one-account-per-character roleplaying forum. Upon your first character being accepted and moved to the 'Accepted Characters', you are free to create your account for that character! Profiles for IC roleplay feature sections where your cats rank, age and gender can all be listed with ease. If you go to your 'Groups' tab, you will be able to add your character's account to their clan group. If you need any help filling out these fields, feel free to PM any staff member. The sidebar hover image is 220px x 350px.
To create separate users on one account, refer to the toolbar in the bottom right corner of your screen. Simply click on the icon of the two people, and it will take you to a separate screen.
Once in this screen, you will be able to switch between existing accounts as well as make new ones. To create a new one, simply click on the 'Create a new account for this forum' link.
And there you have it! For character accounts we ask that their display name be their true name (ex. Bluelight's displayname is Bluelight). We recommend you use your character's warrior name if creating a kit or apprentice account. Leaders are also to be made with their warrior name in the event they retire from the rank. If you do not have a full name for your cat in mind you can register with the suffixes -kit and -paw. (ex. Fishpaw's account name is Fishsplash, Streamstar's account name is Streamclaw).
